First off thanks for taking time to answer questions and share you insights with us. My question is. When launching a new campaign on FB what objective do you recommend to start with and why? I've heard people say to start with Website Clicks then move to PPE, etc?
It depends what you are promoting, if its a relatively low paying cpa offer (under $20) then you can just start with website conversions as your objective. Website clicks is also something you should always test as well though. PPE is good to do on your ads in the very beginning to get social proof which makes them perform better in your website conversions or website clicks campaigns. If its a higher cpa offer then you will want to still try website clicks and website conversions but optimize for the 2nd page of your "funnel" so to speak (the page after they click through lander 1) and optimize for that so you gather data quicker then waiting for them to get to the end of the funnel. Once you get a large amount of purchases or leads or whatever it may be, then optimizing for that in website conversions many times does best. But again you need to test a lot.
