You really need to spend a bit of money to get your Page started. I know guys that do share for share, but even with that you need some sort of established audience. Getting a few thousand Likes shouldn't cost you too much if you setup your ads properly and it's a good investment. I have a guide on how I create my ads for Likes to see the best results at:
