Hi there! Well the best way to get started with PPV is to read some real case study and take action. The best way to learn is to do something. Create your first PPV campaign and see how it's going. Duplicate what works and improve what don't!
Don't listen only what others say. That what works for others maybe will not works for you and vice versa...
