Interest targeting for broad dating on FB

Nowadays with increased competition, do you find it necessary to use interest targeting on Facebook in order to do well with general/broad dating? I find interest targeting can boost CTRs but they also vastly limit your reach and limits scalability on a campaign.

Depends on the country. One like USA you could use interest targeting since the demographic is so big. A smaller country like Sweden, interest targeting would kill your volume
