Good to know. I recently came across an article that said Overstock was penalized because of the way they were getting links from .edu blogs (in exchange for store credit) and they are still waiting for their penalization to be lifted. They've claimed that it's taken about 5% of their overall...
I agree that the algorithm is good, but it's definitely just the beginning of Google's efforts to weed out low-value content. This shows that they are serious about the importance of valuable content, and I think that more businesses/websites will put more resources into creating high-value...
Thanks for the links. I read today that Bing is the UK's fastest-growing search engine. Should be interesting to see what they do to distinguish themselves from Google in foreign markets.
