I've recently heard that if you place the same article over and over again on many article sites, it might not help with your rankings, so it would be much better to spin it, to make almost unique articles and than to post them. Could it be true?
A high PR might also make people think your site is a serious one, but there aren't too many of your readers who value PR or who even know what PR is. And it's much more important how your readers feel about the site than the SEO people.
