Update : we worked out how to share the folders ! Now we need a way to let a user create a notepad style .txt file that can be added to the folder for viewing by another user.
Any help really appreciated - who knows, if the site works and we make a few quid I'll gladly send some paypal love ;)

Hi - I have a site that uses php to let users play an mp3 chosen from a list. The mp3 variable name is always $imgname12.
Quicktime then plays whatever mp3 the user chose, but using the variable $imgname12 instead of the actual mp3 filename.
