We offered a trial for several months. People abuse it too much. They just re-sign up with prepaid cards that never rebill. We then tried doing a $1 7 day trial, and people would simply use prepaid cards that only had $1 on them.
With the $1 trial you also open yourself up to credit card fraud...
Using a spy tool isn't always about just ripping a whole campaign, from start to finish. A lot of affiliates simply use it to see what's working right now, use the ads as inspirations / a base for them to then build and optimize upon. It's not a case of always just being able to rip a profitable...
There's not really a method to catch every attempt at this. If people really know what they're doing, they can obscufate it easily.
That said, just simply looking for "http" in the HTML/JS will find *most* suspicious things.
This is what we recommend. Rip a lander and see how it performs; then perform your edits and split test/improve the landing page to keep increasing your ROI :).
