Well just make sure you create different angles, like a reason why the audience would give away their info for the samples or for your offers.
One option would be to run both, use the blacklist method to search for placements all the while running a separate, whitelist campaign for the placements that turned +ROI on your blacklist campaign.
Well if you're just starting I'd advise to stay away from Bing and Adwords, and try other ad networks first. It's gonna drain your funds easily. Learn about tracking and optimizing first before going mainstream with Search PPC.
That's a great idea, but I'd still suggest you do CPA, especially if you have a lot of free time. Cheaper traffic sources means other ad networks like pops, banners, etc.

The thing is you spent a lot of resources in those courses when you should've tried to learn things by experimenting first hand. Experience is the best teacher here, not those courses.
