Great observations from both of you @Ketchup Packet and @Graybeard
I'll start with @Graybeard's suggestion - my next task is to come with a more valuable front end offer. After checking I can see that the optin rate has been pretty low so far, around 4% of visitors only. This reinforces your...
Thanks, so just to be sure I understand your advice correctly, I should:
1. Advertise to get more page fans (instead of trying to get email leads directly from FB)
2. Post on that page with links to my blog (where I would have an optin box)
I actually already have the blog, as the emails are...
Right now I'm in a phase where I try to find where I can get leads. I started with Facebook ads... but the result so far is... mmm, pretty bad.
My targeting is probably a bit off... I'll try to adjust! Any advice is welcome at this stage :p
@englishrussian that 10x yearly profit estimate was based on articles I had read in the past. Searched more about it today, and I saw that it usually ranges between 2x to 10x, depending on what you're selling: service or product, and how the profits are trending.
Mmmm... now, that IS a big problem... I don't really know (yet) how to fix that, I will have to make some research on the topic.
Another problem, you said 02:00 am? The emails are normally sent at 06:00 in subscribers' timezone. So I've got 2 things to fix.
Thanks for telling me
I think I have the "refresh stats" syndrome... can't stop refreshing stats waiting for that sale!
I reckon that it's a lot of wasted time, I need to stop that!
Thanks @VirtualGlobalPhone - very good, I have been on warriorforum for many years, but I prefer my new home here on AffiliateFix :) It's warmer and there's a bit more positive activity
Email #2 has gone out this morning, let's hope it makes some sales too!
Here is how it looks like (last time I post a screenshot, to see the next ones, subscribe to the newsletter, it's 100% spam free, with fresh news from the industry that can help you with your business decisions):
Let's...
Thanks Martini, I'm pumped right now and almost jumping around... that's not a lot of money but the feeling is fantastic!
1. I'm linking to external content. Basically I'm just curating news so far, but this will change soon.
2. For managing the emails/subscribers I'm using a wordpress plugin...
I thought those 2 visitors purchased, but actually only one of them did. The reason it shows 2 sales is because the one who purchased also picked up an OTO:
Thanks so much @Graybeard that's super helpful! I will fix that first line of body text in a few minutes... but first I NEED to share that with you!
I cannot believe it!
First email sent this morning to around 40 people... and what do I see in my JVZoo account???
Can you guess what?
Yes, I...
I thought you were talking about the content of the newsletter. Was checking those ones... Ok so about that other article, I don't really care it's an old one. It doesn't change my point of view that newsletters are serious business. For example, Morning Brew is making serious money with around...
@Graybeard lol haha  now that's what I would call a very bad start!
I don't know which article you talk about but will check that now, and make sure this doesn't happen in tomorrow's newsletter - learn as you grow :affiliatefix:
"snow-ball-effect-able" o_O first time I hear/read this word haha :)
To sell the business for $1M, I need to make it earn at least $100k (in profits) per year, or $8,333 per month. This doesn't look out of reach.
Great achievement today, 3 weeks after I decided to start this project, the 1st email was sent to around 40 subscribers - that's not a lot, but it gets the ball rolling!
Here's how the 1st newsletter email looks like:
There's still room for improvement, but just the fact that I was able to...
