I don't know what you're using or what your strategies are, I just know what has giving me free traffic. I pay for a powerful keyword research tool that scores the keywords for how difficult they are to rank for. I don't pay for ads on Google, Facebook, or anything else - I primarily use free...
Here are some ways you can get free traffic:
create blog posts on your website
write articles for sites like medium.com
create simple youtube videos
create an ebook to attract people and build an email list
help people in groups on social media
I highly recommend targeting low-competition...
What's the offer and niche?
Have you listed your offer on popular affiliate networks? If so, which ones?
Make sure that your affiliate network listing has enough information and that the landing page you are trying to promote is designed to convert well. When you are listed on an affiliate...
Thanks everyone for the info! This is really helpful for me to be able to evaluate and estimate how many conversions I should be getting based on the amount of traffic my sites get, so that I can figure out what is performing well and what isn't. :)
I use Storyblocks mostly, followed by DepositPhotos, and Pixabay. Storyblocks and DepositPhotos are not free, but they are one of the most affordable sources for stock photos.
I've been rejected too, without even being given a chance. It's a harsh world, unfair, but it is what it is. All I know to do is say "hrumph" and walk away. There are plenty of other opportunities out there and I don't need those who outright reject me. This is a good thread btw.
Is there like a normal conversion rate for most sales offers? Or does it vary?
So for example, say I was promoting a product on Clickbank, and it got 1000 clicks, what percentage of those clicks would convert to sales? Does the conversion rate vary by the type of product, or does it stay...
I recommend WordPress. I use it everyday to build a wide variety of sites. I can host it anywhere, it's cheap, and I can build all kinds of sites with it, especially with the help of some powerful plugins.
I have been testing out different website analytics tools for tracking the traffic on my websites. I have been using a free WordPress plugin called Koko Analytics along with Visitor Analytics. I used to use Google Analytics, but I like the more privacy-friendly tools.
What are your favorite...
I agree with the replies above, but there are really a lot of things that can influence conversion rates.
Something I haven't seen mentioned yet is the offer landing page itself.
Not only does it make a big difference how people are presented the offers on your site, but what also matters is...
I know of a tool that let's you build an app without hiring a developer for paying those kinds of prices. It uses a variety of templates, drag-and-drop tools, and those kinds of things. It has a lot of features and it's super cheap compared to the cost of hiring a developer to build something...
I use Clickbank, which is easy to sign up for.
I also look up the specific companies and products I want to promote and try to get approved for their affiliate programs. A lot of them are generally easy to get approved for, but there have been some that either don't have an affiliate program...
If you're looking for an ecommerce platform, I recommend WordPress with Woocommerce.
If you're looking for a product suppliers for things like dropshipping products, print-on-demand products, or things like that, I'd need to know more about what you're looking for.
I did a search on DuckDuckGo for "affiliate marketing forum", then clicked on some article titled "Best Affiliate Marketing Forums on the Internet" on mobidea that had this site listed as the third best affiliate marketing forum.
