Good move Google...:p:p:p
Filtering annoying ads can highly benefit our sites. Surfers can also be strucked by those ads with the same keywords but have different categories.
That is a very great thing to hear. Also waiting for this to come. Google wants the ads to "blend" in to the contents, well I think they finally done it right now.

There are lots of placements that can be used. I saw that as effective because people can quickly see those ads and think of it as a portal to another page of you site.
There are lots of uses that effectively let people click. As long as you don't click your own ads, don't beg other people...
You should not click on your own ads. If you found something interests you, just copy the url or take the domain and type it on :pyour browser. Don't let Google take a chance of banning your account.

Google said to not mislead your viewers. And also said that you should blend you ads on your contents which is the exact reciprocal.
I say, it is ok to place it there as I have done it and it works fine. No Google warnings though.

Having PP at your footer will abide by this policy. If you are a serious adsense publisher, having this can let you take good care of your adsense account because the adsense sites are closely monitored. :D;)
This is a complete list. Other than that you should also make sure that you have accepted related topics from that site link to your site. That would give a nice ranking.
Very clear questions and experience.
Well, you don't have to rewrite those articles to be submitted to other article directories. Even ezinearticles accept articles already submitted at other sites provided that you are the writer of it with your name.
