Just whatever you do, try to promote or create something that has recurring billing. Imagine having hundreds or even thousands of recurring members... awesome!
Thing is you could spend a lifetime chasing Google trying to figure out what it wants and then BLAM along comes another Panda and all your work goes up in flames. Been there, done that. So my new SEO strategy is to simply not care about Google anymore and to work on getting traffic from offline...

Most people who sign up for an affiliate program never follow through so don't worry about them. I've signed up for tons of them and I use maybe 3 or 4 here and there.

If I could start all over again (which we kind of are actually), I would focus 100% on building membership sites and recruiting affiliates. I would not spend one second on dumb side projects. I would also not allow myself to rely on Google for income. Ouch.

I don't know, this isn't rocket science, I think anyone who puts their mind to it can do it. So why doesn't everyone do it? Not everyone wants to. Sitting in front of a computer all day long doesn't necessarily appeal to everyone.
