Thanks for this - some useful information by the looks of it.

I'll have to check out all of the blogs that you've posted - it's certainly become increasingly difficult to find do-follow blogs of this nature.

that is true commenting on high PR site could help link building strategy for your site. But make sure you comment related to the post and don't spam it.

I was under the impression that the site you leave the link on has to be relevant to your website to get maximum link juice. As it is no good putting a designer clothing link on a car site as they are not relevant.

My understanding, based on seeing a few actual studies is that relevance has no affect at all on link juice being passed.

I've read this a few times.

But when you really consider it from the point of view of Google, it doesn't make much sense.

People have random discussions about things all over the place. It's not unusual to find a forum related to one specific thing and see threads discussing everything from tree frogs to psychology. It's something Google cannot control nor predict.

If Google limited all their following to only relevant placement of links, their knowledge and dominance of all things web related would also be significantly limited.

I honestly think they've reversed opinions on these areas and probably about the same time they changed their views on Directories (made them less important).
If you consider that a directory lists all related links in one place, and Google sees them as completely relevant, this opens it up to abuse through link farms. So they change their opinion on relevancy.
Then you have completely random links on a forum seemingly unrelated, but placed there by actively interested people discussing it and it's ignored by Google, it doesn't do any favours for that highly appreciated site. So Google ignores the relevancy issue.

That's my view on it. I don't listen to people much when it comes to Google and what works, I just use my common sense and consider what I would do if I had the influence to make these decisions.

Thanks for sharing such useful list!
Actually i also searching do follow forum that have high PR and your provided list will be really helpful for me.
I want to ask that no follow forums is worthless or not ?

Thanks for your detail and quite useful and impressive information. It is highly appreciated. Keep it up and share other information if you have.

I've had the same experience. I've found getting backlinks from irrelevant but high PR sites can be just as effective as relevant links. However the downside is any traffic coming from those links will be useless.

I was thinking along the lines of what conran said. It would probably get a bit tricky judging relevance, especially considering I've seen key-phrases that had absolutely nothing to do with a website putting said site on page 1.

Thanks for links.

It's pretty widely accepted that relevance of sites providing links is a factor in Googles algorithms... although we'll never know exactly what effect it has. Hi-PR do-follow sites in the same sector as yours are the holy grail for links.

Super thanks for putting the list at our disposal. May I be so cheeky as to ask if any one had a list of UK only dofollow blogs

It is ok using do-follow blogs but people tend to spam the hell out of them and ruin it for everyone else, it also helps if the blog is related to your site.
