Ask Me Anything About Promoting Binary Options

I've been promoting binary options brokers for some time now and with CPA's up to $500 for first time depositers, this is a great niche in the financial trading vertical.

So I'm opening this thread for anyone who's interested, so please feel free to ask me anything about promoting binary options!

Did you try promoting it through PPV ? Any success ?

But you hate PPV it's in your signature! ;)

No seriously; I have used PPV to build email lists in the make money online niche and these lists are great for promoting binary options. I have never used PPV to promote a binary options broker directly.

I personally lost 400$ in the binary options trading platform "traderush". I wouldnt recommend promoting these off-shore "gambling" sites mainly cause there off-shore for a reason and are mostly illegal in the US, and anything illegal I would not suggest assisting them with traffic or making money in any way shape or form cause you might not get your money back and you could probably be prosecuted. I see these CPA ads for binary options on sites like ThePirateBay and other Torrent related sites and those are also ILLEGAL. Again I strongly urge anybody to beware of this niche..............

Thanks for your input @iansully, and sorry to see you lost money trading binary options. There are definitely some bad brokers out there, just as there are bad CPA networks, bad online casino's, bad datingsites, etc. So like in any niche select your broker and offers carefully.

About binary options being illegal in the US, that's a whole other discussion. You can trade binary options in the US, but the broker has to be based in the US, like Nadex. Just like you can't play poker on PokerStars in the US and playing poker is far from illegal in the US. I guess they just don't want see americans spend their hard earned dollars overseas instead of pushing their money back into the US economy. ;)

Everyone should decide for themselves what they want to promote.
  • If you didn't lose weight after trying Acai or Garcinia would you still promote that offer?
  • If you lost some money playing poker, would you still promote that pokersite?
  • If you didn't get laid on the first date, would you still promote that datingsite ;)
In the end it's all about the hustle and also a lot of dietpills manufacturers, datingsites etc. are also based offshore. Hell I even know a couple of super affiliates who have registered their company offshore, because of tax reasons.

Hope this helps.

I want to promote binary options by using forum. I mean I'll create a forum where people discuss about binary options trading and other stuff related to binary options. What do you say about that?

How does your Landing Pages look like? As much content as possible I guess?
what is your main traffic source? BING ppc?
Thanks

Landing pages depend on the angle and which audience you are targeting. MMO traffic is totally different from financial trading traffic. Also gambling traffic tends to convert pretty good.

I won't show my own landing pages, but if you want I can post some other examples.

Also I won't reveil my exact traffic source, but it's mainly popunders/overs.

Thanks @Morett I've been experimenting with ppc on Mgid, with some decent results but my roi on pop traffic seems to be better.

I also run a broker review site that has videos about brokers but also different trading strategies. These videos are on YouTube and some of them get good traffic but I use it to drive traffic to the review site, not directly to a broker of offer.

Not at all I'll outsource everthing. Any suggestion?
Well I asked because running a forum is a lot of work. (ask K, the owner of this forum ;)) And I don't mean the setup or maintenance but keeping the ball rolling, keeping people involved, moderation etc.

I'm not trying to discourage you, but it's probably a good idea to consult a few forum owners first. I don't have any experience in running forums myself.

Hey buddy, good to hear that you are in the same niche!

I would like to keep this thread public so everyone can learn from it, so if you have a question please feel free to post it here. If you want to ask a private question, please PM me.

Cheers!

Soul de you mind breaking down your process for us (offer Networks, offer selection, funnel flow, traffic type if not sources, etc) and/or a case study? I see a lot of offers on clicksure but it seems like you need a crazy amount of traffic to make it work. I get that with such high payouts it can be profitable, but I'd like some insights from a pro.

That's quite a lot to ask, I mean it takes time to write out the complete process I go through. Also it completly depends on the angle. If I have time I will do a case study.

I don't really promote Clicksure offers anymore, but what I do know is that the guys behind the offers spend a lot of time testing and improving their sales pages and funnels. There are reports of epc's over $5, but it's not instant, because of the pretty long funnels. Conversion sometimes even take a couple of weeks.

Clicksure offers seem a little shady but if you want to promote them, the best traffic for those types of offers is email traffic, so you need lists. Also Mgid and Taboola are good. This what those ads look like (marked red):

Hope this helps.

Thanks @martini that does help. I would love to see a case study and I'm sure the market is dying for a product on this vertical, so maybe the process write up could be the start of another revenue stream for you (just throwing that out there).

Where are you finding your offers? Clicksure is definitely shadier than most (I even worked with a guy that was behind a few of those funnels for a little while).

So in your opinion, would using AdClick Media like you outlined in your post [Guide] How to become an email rockstar without your own list be the way to go or would you jump straight into Taboola/Mgid?

I also have a list of 10k+ emails generated from my time with that guy (kind of old since that was last summer) but I cant upload it to my conventional email platforms because I'll surely get banned. Any suggestions or would you be interested in speaking about a collaboration/test of some sort to see if they will convert?

What exactly are you promoting? Binary option books? Brokers? Or trading systems?

I'm a Quant by trade and I've built a trading model that predicts the direction of a stock in a month with about 70% accuracy. I'm not very familiar with Binary Options right now (but I could probably pick up the subject quickly considering my background.) I'm considering building my own systems and promoting them thru, say, Clickbank. How's the competition for binary option trading systems (i.e. are there a ton of low quality scammy systems that don't work that are still popular for who know what reason)?

I work with brokers directly that provide me with the offers.

Depends a bit on the angle, but you can get really cheap traffic at Mgid and Taboola. So for newbies, that would be a better place to start I guess.

Why would you be banned? The subs did not opt-in? My advise would be to slowly bring that list back to life. First with som e nice content, than start sending promo's. I'm not interested in a collaboration right now, but thanks for the offer.
