Affiliate Links Inside A Downloaded eBook?

Hello everyone!

This is what I have going on right now and I hope someone out there can help me out. It would be greatly appreciated.

I made a squeeze page that offers a free eBook to people who sign up using their email. After they sign up, a Thank You page appears with a download button for them to download the free eBook. Inside the free eBook, I have 3 affiliate links scattered around that will lead them to the product that I'm promoting. I have tested this out by entering an email address into my squeeze page and downloading the free eBook, and all of my affiliate links are working fine. This is where my problem comes in.

When first downloaded, the links work fine, but when I exit out of the pdf, and then open it back up, the links are still clickable, and it takes you to the order page for the product, but it is not recognizing me as the affiliate.

Therefore if someone doesn't order the product when they first download the free eBook, then I am not going to get paid. Let's say someone downloads it and reads half, then closes it. The next day they want to finish reading it so they open it back up and finish it and then they decide to buy. I'm screwed at this point. They will still be able to order it, and the merchant will still get the sale, but I won't get crap even though it's my sale.

Has anyone ever dealt with this before or know what to do in this situation. Thank for your time.

I made a video explaining it, but I can not upload it. It says "The uploaded file does not have an allowed extension." I will try to explain it better.

I have a squeeze page, when someone signs up, they get a free eBook.

Inside the eBook, I have affiliate links.

I downloaded it myself from my squeeze page to test it out.

The affiliate links all work fine.

I close the downloaded eBook file.

I open it up again.

The links are still clickable, but they lead to the main vendors checkout page instead of my affiliate checkout page.

My Affiliate links only work right after the eBook is downloaded.

After closing the file, and opening it back it.

It doesn't recognize me as an affiliate.

Is this any better, or am I still not making sense? Thanks.

okay Now I got you
try to Open the affiliate link and see if you been recognized as an affiliate
then Close the page and reopen it again and see if still can be recognized as an affiliate .
try to do that in private navigation as well
and let me know

also if you want you can PM with your affiliate link
i am sure i can help with this if they depends on the cookies not the IP address cus they made this affiliate system Crazy But we will Fix this issue

before i see your Post i think i will have to say that you have to walk the visitor trough an other link that will be created by you and that link will delete the cookie that the affiliate System Puts in the visitor machine So this way you will guarantee that any time He opens the link they buyer will be reffered by you

I have found a solution that will work for now. Thank you so very much for your time and help.
