Age V Brandability

I want to start a new website, I have two domain names to use for the site, a old three generic three character domain I have been sitting on for seven or so years and a new keyword rich, 'brandable domain' that I am yet to register. From search engine marketing point, I wonder which for of the two my new website will benefit from most.

Thats an interesting question.I would think there are a few factors involved in this.
