Alexa Rankings you can have a website with lots of visitors and another website with hardly any, yet some times the one with hardly any visitors gets a higher ranking?

Alexa ranking depends upon the number of visitors coming to a website or how much traffic it have. I dont think it depends upon the number of backlinks. Alexa ranking is given against traffic of website. High website traffic and you will get low alexa rank which means your website have good amount of traffic.
