Yeah. This is why I have banned Amazon (AWS), Google Cloud, as well as many other datacenters including my own -- I just allow my server IPs and and server IPs I need to communicate with.
And all the backlink and spy tools I can find -- I ban their servers too
Googlebot is another brand of stupid I really cannot do much about. If it can be influenced by negative SEO then that's the way it is.
I had to remove Ukraine from my Internet because of all the spammers. They don't buy anything from me -- so who cares?
