There are a lot of hosting services that have semi-managed Wordpress hosting, even more(like ourselves) that have unmanaged Wordpress hosting, and very few that have fully managed WP Hosting. Unmanaged like ours still has WP already installed, easy admin interface, some monitoring, and one click re-install updates. Fully managed will include full time monitoring, updates, plug-ins, backups, and more and semi-managed will be somewhere in between. From customers I've worked with that need good managed WP hosting, they've all said that WP Engine is the best, probably not cheapest/starting at $29/mo but I keep hearing they're the best for WP by far.
I'm using Hostgator. I haven't tried using a managed wordpress hosting since I use a cPanel hosted website and install my own wordpress site on it. Their customer service is great and they also have a live chat support.

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
