Best Sci Fi ever

Max started a thread of the same title at another forum, just want to try it out here as well.

Of those above I think Matrix is the best, although I haven't seen The Road Worrior and although I think Matrix is not the greatest of all sci-fi. It has had it unique idea and really sucked in many of us, but they spoiled the two following parts. They don't seem to make as good movies as Blade Runner or first parts of Star Wars (meaning IV, V, VI). Star Treck has also got looooots of fans... I think that at least those threeat least should go with the poll. I also liked The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy...

I've seen the second part - The Chronicles of Riddick and I liked it a lot -Have you seen it?

However I was not convinced to see the first part yet... Maybe I'll watch it eventually
