BiddingDirectory.co.uk goes back on gambling websites

I guess as the title states really.

A little while back we disapproved of gambling and casino websites taking top spot in our bidding directories or having more than 2 on homepage at any one time and refused to let this happpen.

Hands up, and I guess a valuable lesson learnt is that after having a casino website bid for top spot on BiddingDirectory co uk there is no way we could reject these websites.

1. Regular submitters
2. They are legitimate businesses
3. We'd be biased towards them as we have a category for gambling and casino sites if they did not have the right to spot just as everyone else
4. They bring in money

A valuable lesson learnt on treating with equality.

.

Yep. If we refused them top spot when we have a casino and gambling category I would be biased towards those sites.

The only way around it would have been NOT to have that category at all but since it is there we will abide by treating all sites as equals.

I can see your reasoning, but it will still be quite bad if the index page is taken over by them.

At the moment I get 9 out of 10 submissions to my bidding directories from gambling sites and most of the time bids are much higher than minimum. They bring more than 95% of revenues and decline them would be a suicide.

I am also creating separate directory specifically for gamblers.

I agree with that, But the problem is with Paypal as it can change your account to limited as per the policies ! So I think that it is slightly risky.
