One of my directories (quite a week one without much back links called jimac.co.uk) has disappeared from Google even if I type its name into Google. It use to be number 1 when I type in "jimac" explanation of Google allegra update by OWG (http://forums.ukwebmasterworld.com/viewtopic.php?p=4387#4387 ) has now shed light on the reason for this.
