Code your own unsub - suppression list?

Hi guys,

We are getting into email offers / campaigns and we want to create our unsubscribe and suppression list so we can pass to our affiliates.

We have team of developers that can do this. Is it worth or we should subscribe to some platform?

What developers need to do to code this?

There are some advantages to doing it yourself. Firstly changing email platforms is much easier if you write your own suppression list code, and you can easily integrate with multiple mail platforms. The other advantage of writing your own code is that you can style it the way you want.
