How much time do you lot spend at your computer (this includes Playstations and playing mobile phone games etc) a day?

How much time watching TV a day?

I recon I rack up 4 hours computer time and a further 5 hours in the glow of the TV.

I don't think I could survive without my PC. The only time I don't feel the twinge to log on is when I'm with friends, but when boredom is anywhere near me the PC is my ally...

--hahaha.... do "Hi, My name is .... and I am a computer addict." when replying.

I live off my PC during the week, it's actually a full time job after my real job. I'm hoping to make the computer my full time job and real job and ditch the real job I have now. Did any of that make sense?

I watch maybe 2 hours of tv a day at best. Some days I watch only the news at 6pm while eating dinner, others I watch none at all.

I'm on the PC at a minimum 10 hours per day and on the phone 2 hours. I surely should hit a meeting or two myownself.

So with all this computing time do any of you experiance any "side effects"?

i.e. Bloodshot eyes, repetitive strain injury, putting your dinner in the oven switching on the PC and then burning your dinner by mistake?

Or just not getting anywork done because of these online puzzle games like solitare or tetrus?

burning my dinner is quite common :) and could definitely improve my use of time. Spend too much of it writing about daft things in forums

Hell, I forget to eat sometimes, put it off until not long before bed, then have the wierdest dreams possible.

I don't know about this one - but can watching a non-LCD screen give you eye-cancer as the radiation is being shot at your face?

Or is it a myth?

I can't say I've heard that one yet but these days you can get cancer from virtually anything.

ah ah ah ah ahhhhhhchooooooo, Cancer.

I stay in front of the computer a long time. I've not really timed myself. I like watching bbc news maybe 2ce a day mornings and evening or night. There isn't much there anyway Iraq is an issue that seem not to leave the hedline for too long.
