Was going through my database and had a thought, "Are those link swaps I did many years ago, still linking to my site?"
My worst fears were confirmed, as on checking, I found those websites removed my links, and I wonder why do they bother when the link exchangers must realise they'll be removed as well.
I actually found much satisfaction from deleting the rubbish from my site, like it was pure joy and a relief to exact revenge on the scum who link/delink to gain that so tiny an advantage.
You'd think they be better off leaving the links in place and benefiting from the link partner's traffic.. Linking is getting tougher and we dont need this kind of thing.
