Job title: Technical Producer - with Web 2.0 Skills
Responsible for managing Web 2.0 and community changes to corporate client websites.
What your responsibilities will include: * Developing the sites with new content and functionality
* Coordination of web content feeds, online community systems and content feeds and features with design & development teams
* Understand user journeys and optimise the experience to different customer needs
* Understanding of usability and accessibility standards
* Investigate emerging technologies to be able to keep the site 'best of breed'
* Communicate with stakeholders on site construction, taxonomy and user experience
* Produce technical briefs, change requests and requirements
* Assess and report on technical proposals
* Understand MIS technologies and requirements to provide consistent tracking and joined up reporting
* Maintain contact and content technical constraints for the client’s portal
* Attend regular project calls with a view to understanding potential impacts to current portals
Job requirements:
* Up to three years experience in a related web management/production role
* Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities and coordinate team workflow in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop code with an emphasis on multi-platform content feeds and Web 2.0 / Community content management technologies (see detail below)
* Knowledge of website technology
* Ability to analyse complex information
* Sound business sense with a commercial outlook
* Passionate about customer experience and technology
Experience with coding and developing "Rapid Prototypes" using the following Technologies
* HTML
* MIS and Analytics reporting
* Object Oriented Development methodology
* PHP (advanced)
* ASP (light)
* Content feeds
* Javascript and Ajax
* Photoshop
* Relational Database technologies, SQL (technical understanding)
* MS Project, Excel etc.
* UML, XML
* Developing wireframes, process flows
