You may notice some forums "disappear" they have not been deleted, just merged with other forums. It was pointed out that we have too many forums and I sort of agreed hence I have been merging forums that are not busy or forums that are too similar.

I think this is a good move that will help with your overall activities. Many forums do make the mistakes of having too many categories -- myself included.
