UK general elections takes place tomorrow, we will have a new prime minister within 48 hours or so from when the ballot is cast, does it matter to online business and webmaster who is the new prime minister ?

Any prime minister will have their mandate for development of his country and welfare of their citizen as a whole.

On his position he will think in a democratic ways. Nothing will go wrong to the online business and the webmaster. Be Optimistic.

Its may possible that their will be slightly raise on sales tax/income tax or professional tax, but possibility you will get other benefit like exemption in some clause or increase on income tax limit.

The online business has reaching to it's excellence and most of the business and consumer are now totaly dependent on it. It will never paralyze.

See the light after the end of the tunnel.

etch support, that is and excellent analysis but don't you think one party is potentially more online business friendly than the other?
For example I think it will be a disaster for Britain is UKIP or SNP are to form the government. Though highly unlikely that either of those two parties can form the government but I think their policy are potentially damaging to online business and the entire UK economy as a whole.

If the two parties policy will be merged then certaintly they will form an uniform mandate after going on negotiation to each others.

Eventually they will come out with supportive formula for business sector as economy for any country is the backbone.

Dont forget as a whole they have to complete their terms also and have to face the voters again on next terms election.

Be Positive! The web hosting and online business is never going to damage.

Ahhh,
I am reassured by your optimism and the fact that does two parties can never form government of or country anyway.

If any one is so sure about the outcome for the policy of the next Government damaging online business, then he should prepare to search another offline business.

If the opinion poll are right we should have a labour government, so far they have been quite good with online business, they even have and minister for Online business.

Minister for Online business, it's sound very nice. Hopeful ! the opinion poll will go right for a labour government.

Blair will win in a landslide. Way too much progress being made in Iraq these days, and if he wanted to, he could say, "I told you so". He doesn't need to though, as the majority of his mandate sees through trees and past the forrest.

I honestly can not see Blair losing, I just hope he stays as PM, as I really do not want to see Brown leave the treasury.

OWG,
I look forward to seeing Blair go and Brown the PM, I know this will not happen immediately but it will within the next two year.

Paul,
But the mood in UK is very different from the mood in US. In UK over 50% of the electorate did not want the war, the reverse is the case in US.

Iraq has been the weakest part of Blair's campaign.

I'm quite familiar with world politics, Temi. In fact, the mass majority of UK citizens oppose the War, yet have no concrete reason as to why, just what they've been told via the media (bbc, etc. - No widespread FOXNEWS over there). Here in the states, depending upon the poll you read, most are against the War also, as most read/listen to the liberal press, telling all of the bad news, ignoring the good.

Yes, I agree with you, when Bush leaves office, this will be Blair's demise and he'll no longer by PM, but history will show the liberation of the Iraqi people, and planting the sead of Democracy would be the key to World Peace, if one should ever exist. Just as history now shows what would have happened if the U.S. didn't help France years ago (Oh, and thanks for your support now, France).

Right, Temi.

Just like this guy: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,155566,00.html

""As far as the economy is concerned, we're doing fine. It's just the one big issue [the war]. I find it appalling that thousands of people are lying out there dead, it just sickens me," said Gary Davis, a taxi driver who voted Conservative in north London."

Well, DUHHHHHHHH, Mr. Taxi Driver lol! Was he, "appalled" at what Hitler did also? If so, how could he be, "appalled" at preventing S.H. from doing even MORE of what Hitler did?

Don't gte me wrong, I hate Blair for the lies he told, and would love to see him go, but I really do not want Brown to leave the post of Chancellor at the treasury.

My next neighbour would make a good Prime Minister (he is currently leader of the house), although not sure if our constitution allows it. I think it does. http://www.number-10.gov.uk/output/Page1399.asp hell of a nice guy, truly devoted to his beliefs. In fact the whole family are nice, his Daughter teaches my daughter ballet http://www.mosaicdance.com/ .

Political leaders are not solving any problem, They are only rearranging the problem.
