Does the offer require a pre-lander?

I have been a media buyer for almost a year now. But I still feel like I don't understand this field. I have found many sweeptake offers on networks such as Monetizer, gg, and Zeydoo. These offers all have a sweeptake lander. Do I need to set up another pre lander? If I set another one, wouldn't it be a repetition? But many tutorials say that pre lander must be used because direct linking is no longer profitable. Please guide me, experts! Thank you!
By the way, I am accustomed to using pop/push format for advertising sources.

Really depends on your traffic source and the landing page of the offer.

Nowadays most sweepstakes and dating offers have built in pre-landers, so basically the advertiser already has some kind of pre-landing in front of their actual product/lead collection page. However, using a pre-lander can still be a great idea! Whenever I promote dating offers myself I always use a pre-lander so I can capture user data myself before sending the visitor to the offer URL. I also use ProPush.me for extra monetization on my pre-landers.
