There is a debate at Nominet email list at the moment for people who want a new domain extension .sco.uk created. Some people are for it, others are again.
Same here KP, I think its pointless, if Scotland succeeds, then Wales will want an extension, and Norther Ireland as well, then the English will fell left out and want .eng.uk and what would be the point of .co.uk ?
You know what? I seriously, in the future can see something really stupid happening like a list of ext for every single state in the US and Great Britain having ext like....

It would be totally stupid if that happened but if nominet and/or ICANN get there way thats what would happen.
I always thought the idea was to simplify the internet..
