Duplicate Content Fix

Hello,

I recently started working for an SEO company and one of the SEO's was duplicating content from one of our customers blogs onto Ezine article. I know that Ezine's guidelines appose duplicated text, but its too late and the content is live on Ezine's site and the customers blog. Would we be better off changing the content on the blog so that its not duplicated, or is it too late because it was indexed? Can this affect our SEO results?

You don't need to remove the duplicate content. Search engines will (try to) index only one copy of the articles in any case.

However, you may want to add the author meta tag to the originals and check to make sure that the originals have already been indexed.

I agree you should be fine if you you do as minstrel recommends.
