Hi all, I want to start a poll to get your opinion. If someone has $100 to invest, should they run ads to get ecommerce sales? Or should they run ads to generate CPA leads? What's easier with a small budget?

I find it very unlikely that $100 is going to be sufficient with any form of marketing. After all, it isn't 1998!

Just the setup will be more than that.

And if you want to work on SPA, then you can go to Aila Lab, there are many options for e-commerce offers and various services.

If you’ve got $100 to invest, I’d say go for CPA leads, especially with a small budget. E-commerce can be tricky because getting enough sales from ads might take a bit longer to see results. You'd probably need a bigger budget to make an impact with ads for products. On the other hand, with CPA (cost per action) lead generation, you're just looking for actions like sign-ups, and you don’t have to worry as much about converting a sale right away.
Also, I’d recommend checking out agencies like https://refinedcommerce.com/ , as they can help optimize your strategy with smaller budgets.

$100, i can smell the sudden instagram reel motivation which pumps you up to wake up and work! but soon you realize, it's cold outside!

Jokes aside, $100 isn't enough to test anything, mostly the native platforms have bot traffic and approved and big native platforms requires higher budget to show your post to the right audience.
