Facebook ads and exit popups

I've read that Facebook no longer allows exist popups on landing pages. I use Popup Domination for popup optins on my page.

Is it possible to get away with this by choosing to activate the popup AFTER the FB ad is approved? Can facebook actually tell there's a popup after the ad is approved? Do they do random inspections?

Thanks

Facebook bot moderates the ads from what I have seen in logging.
IDK if that would be able to detect the pop --if the bot is Selenium based it probably can?

Don't do it --you will end up with a perma-ban and need a new identity altogether.
When you go looking for trouble --you usually find it ;)

Thanks for the reply Graybeard. I guess omnipotent Facebook can do whatever they want.

It sucks because popup optin boxes are not unethical.

I've read that you can use popups that are triggered by a button press.

Do you know of any good plugins that do this?

Thanks

try a search if you need a 'tool'
Thanks for the resource Graybeard.

Do you know if Facebook will allow an optin box that is embedded within a post?

I want to use one of my blog posts for my boosted ad. The landing page is my blog post that has an optin box within the article. There is no popup box.

I've read that Facebook wants its advertisers to maintain good 'Ad Scent.' According to one source, "having good ad scent means having similar copy, images, headline, font, colors and language between your ad and your landing page."

Would an optin box embedded inside a blog post raise red flags?

Thanks again

Don't get a whiff of Facebook's stink :D
It is a onclick dialog (modal window)-- I would think the answer is dependent on your contents.

That code will not work within a Facebook post or ad.

That is HTML and not compatible with WP without modifications (most likely).

I thought your question was about your website being linked to and its content and format.
