In my opinion and experiences Facebook is wayyyy better for affiliate traffic then Twitter. Facebook has over 1.35 billion users on the platform so you can imagine all the possibilities you can use facebook for.
I like Twitter to be use dmore as a tool that helps to keep a certain audience engaged with your brand (similar to an autoresponder), but I do'nt think it's great for promoting offers directly.
I like Fb, its got the highest number of users which is nothing short of a boon for people who are depended on FB for there site traffic and for reaching there customers. Though i admit as Fb is growing, its getting more and more greedy specially for those who are vastly depended on Fb for their site promotion.
