Fergie isn`t too happy at the 5 point gap opened up after United lost to Man City last weekend.

With 12 games of the current campaign still remaining, Ferguson is convinced that there is still time to overhaul Arsene Wenger's side and retain their championship crown.

But he has admitted that Arsenal's growing improvement is a concern, while conceding that events have not gone to plan up until this stage of the season.

United meet Arsenal today in the next round of the FA cup, but both sides will have their eyes on the European Championship matches during the week.

The two who voted for the United victory got it spot on. I doubt many of us thought though that the ease of the win would be as it was.

Darren Fletcher scored twice in United`s 4-0 victory over Arsenal.

United took an early lead against its Premier League title rival, with Wayne Rooney scoring in the 16th minute and Darren Fletcher doubling the advantage within five minutes.

Facing little resistance from the Gunners, Nani fired in a third goal in the 38th.

There was no way back for Arsenal after Emmanuel Eboue was sent off four minutes into the second half.

A trio of changes made no impact and Fletcher headed in his second goal in the 74th minute.

More a thrashing than a win.

I've never seen arsenal play like that. I am a Liverpool fan, and the only time I remember a big four win at a canter like that was when Arsenal beat our kids 6-3 in the carling cup a few years back.

That was embarassing.
