Forums post - stickys get better PR?

I just noticed that sticky post seem to get better PR thank regular posts in this forum for example have a look at the following:

- Sticky by Skinner on December site of the month PR5 (http://forums.ukwebmasterworld.com/web-site-month/7289-website-month-december-2007-a.html)
- Sticky but RiverWire on Joomla PR4 (http://forums.ukwebmasterworld.com/...nt-system/4749-joomla-questions-answered.html)

I am sure there are other sticky out there with good PR. Just found this interesting.

I agree. Keep in mind that stickies always remain on the 1st page, and categories usually have good PR and that may leak PR to the sticky threads as they are on the 1st page.
