The world's biggest polluting economies meet in Paris for two days to discuss possible measures to fight climate change, international newspapers report. The main 16 economies of the world, including US and China, cover some 80% of total carbon emissions globally.

US representatives announced before the meeting that they planned to stop carbon gas emissions by 2025 but US President George W. Bush did not put forward any mandatory objective nor did he propose necessary measures, AFP informs.

United States remains the last and single industrial country that refused to ratify the Kyoto Protocol.

I do not know how they will fight against pollution, I think the bad has been made and there's nothing that they could do to stop this. :(
