Google Knol SEO Advantage

I guess something like this might be in the Google forums but I wanted to comment here because I just posted my first knol and it seems the live links are do follow. I think Google's policy is that as long as you are not blatantly self promoting off topic sites you can have live links that are do follow in your Knols.

Any comments or anyone with additional knowledge about this?

I am yet to visit Google Knol but I have a felling the dofollow link will be removed eventually once it becomed popular, Wikipeadea comes to mind, they went down that route as well.

I agree you know what spammers are like as soon as they realise the links are do follow they will be a bombardment.

Good luck with your knol i have been looking forward to its arrival but have not gotten around to doing anything with it myself yet.
