I had mixed up my metatag for verification in google webmaster tools for two sites... One site was recording analytics data for the other site as if it was it's own content. My question, is does this affect AdSense? Was I missing out on revenue because of this error?

My analytics data shows the following minus my domain info.. just tolerate the variables plz

Analytics records this---->domain1.com/page1 "which doesn't exist"
The right record should be--->domain2.com/page1 "which does exist"

Can this mess up be because I put domain1's verification metatag instead of the right one? Will my adsense revenue not be recorded because of this?

Thanks!

meta data is not a concern. Adsense uses your id to give you credit, and places ads basen on title and content. So, if i am understanding the question, this should give you the answer you are looking for.

Yes, you will get credit. I use the same adsense account on loads of different blogs, so it should have no effect. Now, if you do not have channels setup, then you can not tell which site is generating the revenue, but you will still get paid.
