List a few live albums you enjoyed. All music genres are welcome.

I'm a rock fan myself so this is my selection:
(note that the list is not in any particular order)

Pink Floyd - Pulse
Queen - Live At Wembley (1986)
Dream Theater - Live Scenes From New York
Yes - Yessongs
Judas Priest - Live At Brixton Academy (it's my favourite cause I actually attended it)
Deep Purple - Concerto for Group and Orchestra

The list could go on.

I mainly listen to rock and metal music, but there are few exceptions (also below). Some albums I enjoy:

Megadeth (all, but I suggest you start with Criptic Writtings, Youthanasia and The World Needs A Hero ;) )
Godsmack (first three albums, the last one is... not as good. So go for Godsmack, Awake, Faceless and The Other Side(acoustic!) )
System Of A Down (again all, start with the newests - Mesmerize + Hipnotize)
Thin Lizzy - Greatest Hits(2cd), but also any of the other (e.g. Dedication)
RHCP - Californication
Black Sabbath - The Best Of Black Sabbath (2cd)
Slipknot - Vol.3. (The Subliminal verses)
Stone Sour - Come What(ever) May
Tenacious D - Tribute, Pick Of Destiny
The Prodigy - The Rest, The Unreleased, THE LAST, The Fat Of The Land
Silverchair - Neon Ballrom

and I could go on and on... I need to bring some order to my music library ;)

Tenacious D's Tribute is hillarious. But Jack Black sure has great vocals.

On account of Sabbath, somehow I prefer Dio years. I love the Mob Rules album.

If you liked Tribute try The Pick Of Destiny, you shouldn't be dissapointed.

Dio has great voice (BTW - guess who is guest singing in first song of The Pick of Destiny...), but the lyrics gone down at his times in Black Sabbath. Ozzy distinguished Black Sabbath, Dio had written a totaly new and fresh chapter in the band's history, both had great influence on generations of metal/rock bands and funs... Mob Rules is great btw ;)

I've seen the movie. It's great! And it's way funny.

Well musically I prefer the Dio years, but really Ozzy is Ozzy. Enough said. The man's a legend.

Btw, did you ever listen to the Canadian band called Saga? They're a little bit weird mix. Rock with metal technique and softer melodies. Maybe you'd like them.

No, I do not know them. But thanks, I'll try them out :) Do you recommend any particular album for the start?
