Greetings to you. I'm a webmaster, technical writer, and college instructor from across the pond, on the west coast of the US. I've visited London, and got as far north as Scotland a few times, though. Great country. And, I have to say that the best printed publications on Web Design are making their way to the States courtesy of some pretty sharp Brits.
