In this guide i will be showing you how to set up your postback with your tracking system + your affiliate network.
Setting this up can be very confusing so it's best to read through a couple of times to wrap your head around it. If you can't set this up you might as well burn your money because you will be flying blind.
Each network uses different tracking software most use Cake & hasoffers the variables are
Cake: #s2#
Hasoffers: {aff_sub}
Maxbounty: #s1#
These need to be added onto your postback URL. But if you use tracking desk it does it for you
Is this example i will set up a postback for MaxBounty using Trackingdesk.
First you need to create an affiliate network in Trackingdesk. This tracker is a lot easier to use because it automatically adds the correct variables.
So the postback should look something like this.
So this is how it works when someone clicks the tracking system will add a unique number at the end of your link then when a conversion occurs it will fire it back to your tracking system. It looks something like this.
Any questions please ask below.
