I have begun implementing H1 and h2 tags throughout my static pages. Is it wise to use more H tags (H3, H4, etc.) or does Google frown upon overusing H tags?
Don't overuse. They should mainly be used for headings and bold subtitles.
Quite some time ago I did much better with H3 tags. Google seemed to like them better because too many were abusing H1 and 2. Not sure if that's still true - but I still tend to use more H3s than anything. I also use 4,5,6 sometimes.
