Have You Ever Been Slashdotted?

I have a friend who has a friend that had his website slashdotted, and it
took his site down. Very simular to having your site on digg.com, where
the heavy traffic all at once is too much for the shared web server.

Has this ever happened to you?

I heard about SlashDot but did not know it was so popular to bring so much traffic...
I guess I better check them out.

Answering your question - no, I haven't had this situation yet but would be happy to change my server if I can get so much traffic...
