We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Affiliate Marketing to join our Dubai-based team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, articulate, and organized, and have a strong background in driving results within a B2C e-commerce environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish, build and maintain relationships with affiliates, including negotiations, optimizing and reporting on campaign performance, forming creative strategies and objectives, conflict resolution, managing budgets, and more.
  • Identify media partnership opportunities and explore new avenues for affiliate growth within the B2C e-commerce industry.
  • Continually evaluate and test potential sources of high-quality traffic and demand to improve campaign performance.
  • Manage and oversee reporting, identify areas of opportunity, and communicate key wins to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and optimize marketing materials for affiliate campaigns, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging marketing channels to remain competitive in the B2C e-commerce landscape.

Required skills/experience:
  • Advanced understanding of the affiliate marketing channel and its role in driving B2C e-commerce growth.
  • Comprehension of the attribution model we deploy and its importance in evaluating campaign performance.
  • Deep understanding of our KPIs, specifically EPC (what goes into it & why it is so important) and ROAS.
  • Experience using market-leading affiliate tracking SaaS, such as Impact or Partnerize, and secondary tools such as BrandVerity, Similarweb/Ahrefs, and Visual Ping.
  • Proven ability to recruit, activate, and optimize key partners for maximum results.
  • Knowledge of how to identify and classify top opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Experience with running paid media campaigns and optimizing them for maximum return on ad spend.
  • Ability to forecast, track performance, and make strategic changes as necessary to achieve targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a strong rapport and work effectively with global contacts.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendors and partners.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

Beneficial experience:
  • 5+ years of affiliate marketing experience, the B2C e-commerce sector.
  • Dubai-based or willing to relocate to Dubai.
  • Entrepreneurial and team player attitude, with a preference for candidates with startup experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

Welcome to AffiliateFix. You are in a marketing forum. It wouldn't be a bad idea to "shmooze" the talent here.

BTW, your 45K AED is only about $12k U.S. and that creates a bit of a challenge for you finding anyone in a Tier1 country.

tbh this is good amount if you're asking me haha :p

I have went through their hiring procedure few months ago. It turns out it was more then just complicated so i understood it was not meant for me :/
 
Many companies have taken up various excessively complicated measures in hiring, base salary,
yes. But tbh, i don't think it should be like that!

there are many people out here with potential to do so, but these so called living standard based hiring makes it more difficult to get a chance to show something! end results, keeps everyone in the same mouse trap! :/

I complain about it often. There are some things, like remunerations, that should always be kept as uncomplicated as possible. Straightforward and easily understood with little to no room for error in calculations.

Every company has rules. Like:
  • I can take a coffee break any time I like
  • I can take a nap when I choose
  • I can work in my underwear (an oldy but goldy)
  • I can blast my tunes as loud as I want
  • ...etc., etc., etc.
You got to have at least some rules like that! :p
