Hello from North Carolina

I'm introducing myself.

I've been researching/thinking about using Affiliate Programs to make some extra money for awhile now. I hope to have my first dedicated site up (using Drupal) in two weeks (have to set a hard goal) and start concentrating on driving traffic to the site.

My first financial goal is to make $500 a month (not sure if I can say that or not), but that's the first goal.

So far I've found a lot of good tips - the most important one being that this isn't a 'get rich' overnight deal. It's a real business that has to be run like a business - which means thinking outside the box for marketing ideas.

I hope to learn more on this forum over the next few months.
