Well, virtually at least. My name is Don Stratton. I have been working on-line for almost a year and finally in Nov of 09 I was able to leave the 'real' job and begin working from home full time with my on-line business. I found this forum this morning with a quick google search for 'marketing forums' and I look forward to getting to know folks here and hopefully learning a bit.

I am married now for 3 years. My wife and I have 5 children between us, her 2 boys from a previous relationship, my 2 girls from a previous relationship and we have 1 son between us. Their ages range from 6 up to 12. It definitely keeps us busy and life interesting. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

My wife works as a Legal Secretary for a law firm here in Kansas where we live. She has been in the legal field for more than 9 years now and she enjoys it. She 'claims' she won't quit her job even if I'm making enough that she could! lol We'll see.

I did my google search for 'marketing forums' for 2 reasons this morning. First and foremost I would like to learn more. I've only been marketing on-line for a year now, little over, but there is still so much I don't know or don't understand how to utilize fully. I hope I can get some answers here and hopefully I can return a few answers to others with the limited knowledge I have.

The second reason was a new form of exposure. I've been told by a couple people that forums are a good way to get in front of people and build relationships, which is critical in this business.

I have a lot of reading and learning to do today so I'll see ya around the forums!

I do appreciate the offer of help. I have recently struck out to try and get my blog showing on Google and start to get some organic search finds. I could probably use some help on that one.

I had a busy week last week so I wasn't as available as I need to be, I'm going to be more active this week and hope to be participating in discussions much more.
