Hello world!
My name is Glenn Friesen and I'm an SEM man.
I've been active online since it wasn't cool. Early, early, early on, I won a high school presidency campaign using a message board, blog, geocities site, and what I thought was sneaky marketing (setting the school computer's home page to my site). Years and degrees later, I co-managed the internet marketing strategy of a company called Qmania, which was funded and advised by the founders of NetZero. One of the company's revenue streams was affiliate marketing, which I managed a few campaigns for using Networks like CJ. Eventually the company focused on a local Hawaiian market, and I focused on friends, family, wine, and self-developement on California's Central Coast. I'm an SEO at heart, and traditionally have worked in-house or consulted with companies I believe in rather than promote my own affiliate world. My personal blog can be found by googling "Glenn Friesen" and choosing the first result. I respond to twitter messages sent to @glennfriesen and rarely respond to Twitter messages sent to the other profiles in my portfolio.
Some passions include: scholar stones (suiseki), swimming in the ocean, playing bass guitar, recognizing great music and musicians, web design, WordPress, minimalism, CRO, food, friends, family, and wine.
