I wrote a post about AM and general questions about ad clicks on reddit. Here's what someone said:
"Display ad click rates are very low, usually below 1%. And it has been proven repeatedly that the vast amount of ad clicks are bots. So the reality is, almost no one clicks on ads. There are some exceptions, i.e social ads and google PPC, for example."
"very, very few affiliate marketers are making anything at all, and a tiny subset make real money. usually those are people with their own audience making recommendations. The only people reliably getting paid are the retailers and the affiliate networks. The industry is basically a combination of spam, self-help, amway, and actual legit referral business."
Followed by this comment:
" Most of the people telling you they make a ton of money are full of BS. Affiliate marketing is the bottom feeder industry of digital."
Do any of you agree? I feel like he's not 100% accurate. Maybe he had bad experiences?
